Healing With The Archangels: Archangel Gabriel

Archangel Gabriel is known as the Messenger. He communicates love from God, delivering inner peace. His name means "God is my strength". He is also known as St. Gabriel the Archangel.

In the Bible, in the Book of Daniel, he is referred to as "the man Gabriel" and in the Book of Luke he is referred to as "an angel of the Lord". In Catholicism, he is the patron saint of those who work in communication careers and of messengers.

Archangel Gabriel offers guidance in finding your life's mission. He helps us find and maintain faith, particularly in our darkest times. He reminds us that God is always present and we are never truly alone.

St.Gabriel can be called upon to inspire you, help motivate you and open up a line of communication between you and God. If you feel you have lost your way, he can help you find and create your life's purpose, overcome discouragement and find your spiritual path.

Archangel Gabriel can give us guidance for our futures and help us solve problems. He can give you visions, help give you glimpses into your future. Some say he can give you the gift of prophecy. He may even help you to solve your problems during your dreams, if you invite him to do so before you go to sleep.

Archangel Gabriel is also known for being the Angel of fertility. He blesses us with the ability to give life. However, this ability to give life can not only represent conception and pregnancy but also conception and the birth of new thoughts and ideas. He represents a rebirth, a renewal of innocence and letting go of negativity from your past.

Archangel Gabriel is usually portrayed with a large copper trumpet, symbolizing trumpeting messages from God. His halo is copper colored and it is said that if you see flashes or sparkles of copper light, or if you find yourself attracted to that metal, that this is a sign that you are working with him.

Archangel Gabriel is associated with the colors white and copper. In trying times, you can imagine his white light surrounding you and ask that it help dissolve any stress or worries affecting you. You can also visualize his white light coming down from Heaven and entering the top of your head, or crown chakra. Allow the white light to fill your body, giving you peace and love. Feel this energy and light hovering around your throat, or throat chakra, instantly giving you clarity through communication. Say thank you out loud to allow that clear communication to move through you completely.

Don't be afraid to ask for Archangel Gabriel's help, or the help of any of the Angels or Archangels. They are there to help us, it is what they love to and are meant to do! Isn't it a beautiful feeling to know you are not alone and that there is an endless amount of help available to you, if you only ask? They are all a part of God's Blessings to us, His children.
