Recently, I had one of those nights. A night where everything went wrong...where I was so emotionally down that I couldn't see my way up. As I tried to fall asleep, tears in my eyes, one of my Guides came to me in a vision. I hadn't asked for help, but she knew I needed it. She appeared to me...so beautiful. A Native American beauty, hair tied back with what I can only describe as a large, circular, tree of life themed headdress crowning her head.
She spoke to me. Did she solve all of my problems? Did she give me the winning lottery numbers? No. But she gave me a great gift...the gift of perspective on my situation and on life.
As I thought about her words again today, I thought that I should really share them with you. Afterall, we all have those days, nights and moments in life where we are so down, so hurt, so haunted and want to know "Why?". If her words can help give you some perspective on your situation too and life in general, then I definitely want to put her words out there.
She said,"Life is filled with hills and valleys. Somedays the sun will shine on your head, other days mud will cover your feet".
Short, sweet, and to me, quite meaningful. Life has its ups and downs and there are days when everything is great and the sun is shining for you. Then there are days when you are down, stuck and in a darker place. But, life goes on and as you continue to reach the top of that hill again, the sun will shine once more. It kind of reminds me of "This too shall pass."
I share this experience with you all In Love and Light. Keep walking up those hills. The sun is waiting.
