I believe that what you put out into the world and Universe, is what you get back. If you release positive energy and gratitude, you will receive positive energy and even more of what you are thankful for!
Some days are definitely not as good as others, but there is always something to be thankful for! Family, friends, pets, a roof over your head, that close parking spot, the guy ahead of you who paid for your coffee, that sweet smile someone gave you for no particular reason, the list goes on and on!
Sure, you could concentrate on everything that went wrong today or all of your worries about tomorrow, but does that actually make your day better? Does it really solve anything? And most importantly, what are you telling the Universe about yourself? The Universe doesn't differentiate between whether or not you actually like what your are concentrating on. The Universe just takes all that energy and sends it back to you. If you are sending out negativity, the Universe says, well ok, if that's what you want, you shall receive it. Just like if you are sending out positive energy, the Universe says, well, ok, if that's what you want, you shall receive it.
Now, do I expect that you should never be in a bad mood, have a bad day or worry about tomorrow? Of course not! It's bound to happen. What I do think you can do is try to replace a few negative thoughts each day with love, light and gratitude. As time goes on, it will become easier, especially with that positive energy being returned to you!
Another suggestion is to set a time each day, just a few minutes, to express your daily gratitude. What works best for me, is the time right before I fall asleep. I look back at my day and just name the things that come to mind that I am really grateful for. That's all! Just a few minutes a day to say, I am Blessed and I am Grateful....Thank You.
Do you know one of the things I am grateful for today? You! All of you out there who take the time out of your day to read my blog! Thank you!! :)
Wishing you all a wonderful day filled with Gratitude,
In Love & Light,
Lisa Marie
